The 76-year-old, from that region, pleaded guilty to a total of 17 charges when he appeared at Leicester Crown Court on recently.

'Candy game'
Mary Prior KC, presenting evidence, detailed the defendant's actions to the legal proceedings.
She stated his victims were children from difficult backgrounds who were participating in a youth camp which he managed.
The man engaged in a "sweet game" with the youngsters, Mrs Prior explained, in which he would go into the sleeping quarters when they were getting ready for bed and request they to consume candy "as quickly as they can".
She stated to the judge Ruben had engaged in this activity with the boys "over an extended period", and minors had earlier experienced illness the next day.
She said Ruben had been able to explain this for many years as the youngsters being "overwrought by enjoyment", until his stepson had suspicions in July 2025.
The prosecutor added: "Recently" his family member had suspicions about the situation, justifiably.
"They decided to investigate in the man's possessions."
Mrs Prior KC stated objects including infant oil, ointment and medical needles were located, and his stepson notified the authorities about his suspicions.
She stated Ruben proceeded to engage in the "candy game" with six boys that time - July 26th - and they were all ill the subsequent day.
"Authorities" had not responded by that time," she added.
The police watchdog, the investigative body, had stated that it was reviewing Leicestershire Police's handling of the situation.
The legal representative stated the minors were having difficulty walking due to their condition, so the family member notified the police once more.
She explained the defendant then engaged in the "treat game" in a space of five youngsters.
